"Discovering Iris Variations" is a one of a kind bronze sculpture created in direct wax by the lost wax method of bronze casting. It is both a female, and a flower, representing the the amorphous quality of both the female and floral development. The patina is cupric nitrate, and the sculpture is mounted on a black granite and wood revolving base.
