About
Bronze Sculptor, Renate Burgyan Fackler
With a passion for capturing life’s treasured moments through sculpture, my work is both realistic and impressionistic. Although a graduate of The Ohio State University School of Journalism, I believe the visual and tactile impact of sculpture supersedes the written word.
As owner of Chrysalis Sculpture Studio, LLC, I am located in New Albany, Ohio. With over 39 years of experience in all phases of the bronze casting process, I have studied at The Columbus College of Art and Design; Johnson’s Atelier, and Columbia University.
My work is included in both private and public collections across America.” Brutus on a bench,” at the OSU student Union, and Aviatrix, Jerry Mock, at the Works Museum and John Glenn International Airport, are among my most popular public installations. My maquette of Jerrie Mock serves as the Columbus Foundation “Spirit of Columbus” award. I have also done numerous liturgical works located in New Albany and Columbus, Ohio.
